ALI BASTIAN  This Actress is trading her cop uniform and badge for glitz & sequins in hopes that she’ll soon have a Mug Shot revealing her Lawful Possession of a Championship Trophy. Based on her name, Ali is a great friend. She’s kind, accommodating, friendly and always willing to give 110% effort into whatever is asked of her. Based on his name, Brian will be a perfectionist. He’ll share Ali’s friendliness and her work ethic, but he will be overly demanding of himself as he contributes ideas, instructions & patience to his partner. This dedication will stress him out, but overall, they’ll work well together. 

 

RICKY GROVES This Actor is trading in his Eastenders scripts, mechanic tools & hopefully he’ll wash his greasy mechanic hands, before tossing Erin into the atmosphere. Based on his name Ricky will be a complete charmer. He’ll be talkative, fun loving, capable and ready to party. Based on her name, Erin will have a fun sense of humor, a competitive spirit and she’s there to win. Ricky will be intrigued by Erin’s independence, which will make him turn his charm on even higher. Based on his last name, Ricky is out to prove himself. He needs to be taken seriously and he needs the routine to look smooth and professional - this is very important to him. Ricky’s personality will completely mesh with Erin’s joy of laughter and these two will get along very well, let’s just hope she knows how to teach!

 

 

 

 CHRIS HOLLINS This Sports Presenter & Former Athlete needs to put down his fantasy football sheet & trade in his teleprompter – he’s just been drafted by a long legged, high kicking, barely dressed dancer to join HER fantasy league. Based on his name Chris will be extremely determined to win this competition. He’ll be friendly, eager to learn and he’ll be fun to be around. Ola will love to talk, she’ll have a subtle wit and will be very creative. A Chris enjoys his independence and does not like someone breathing down his neck all the time, he likes to keep part of his life private. Ola shares Chris’ desire to achieve, but she loves to talk and she’s going to get stubborn when Chris doesn’t share his personal info. Chris is going to need to compliment Ola to keep her happy and Ola is going to have to not pry into Chris’ life, if she wants to keep him happy. 

JADE JOHNSON  This Track & Field Star Athlete will trade in her track shoes for dancing stilettos in hopes of going the distance in this competition. Based on her name, a Jade looks as good in a track suit as she does in a beaded spangled, baubled mini skirt – people named Jade are just GOOD looking! Jade will appear confident, she’ll be assertive, daring, and will work very diligently to overcome any hurdle she encounters, to achieve her goal of winning. Based on his name, Ian demands perfection from himself. He’ll be determined, focused and will do whatever is needed of him to win. Jade is going to love Ian’s work ethic and Ian is going to love Jade’s poise and self assurance.  

 

  
 

NATALIE CASSIDY Natalie can leave her fitness trainer at home .. she’s going to be kicking her legs, twirling on her toes, sweating to a Salsa & dropping the pounds – which will be helpful when she’s trying to fit into those “wash cloth” sized costumes she’ll be wearing! Based on her name, Natalie will be very observant and will have the competitive desire to win - so she’ll listen to everything Vincent says. A Natalie loves clothes, loves to look good and has a methodical approach to getting what she wants. A Natalie LOVES shopping – so Vincent may have to hold some practice sessions in Harrods dressing rooms.  Based on his name, image is very important to a Vincent. He needs to look good, be right, have things done his way and retain his independence. He’ll be excessively charming and more than willing to put in the extra effort to make certain their performance is the best that it can be.

 

LAILA ROUASS  If this Vivacious, Fashionista; popular for her roles in “Primeval” & “Football Wives” has her way, she’ll make sure her Dancing Shoes are Jimmy Choos. Based on her name, a Laila will be fun loving, creative, assertive and strong willed. Based on his name, Anton & Laila will get along great. Even though they both need to have things done “their way”, Anton’s ambition and Laila ability to  bring fun to the mundane; will make them mesh well together. An Anton is a planner. He’ll have routines and back up routines all prepared in advance, so when they go to rehearsal, their sessions will be smooth, enjoyable and productive. Lalia will respect Anton’s tenacity, Anton never gives up. His last name gives him a fun personality, so if Laila ever gets dropped in a toss or falls on her heel wrong, Anton will be there to make her laugh while he’s picking her up or strapping on her Choos, so they can give it another try.       

 RICKY WHITTLE  This Hunky Actor will have a ton of fun on the dance floor – he’ll treat every dance as a scene out of “Hollyoaks” so we’ll never know until show time, if his Tango will be played by a Good Guy or a Bad Guy. Based on his name, a Ricky is entertaining. He has a natural charm & wit. His last name give him brains, a friendly demeanor and a knack for being a chameleon. He will have the unique ability to adapt to the mood of any dance style demanded of him. Based on her name, a Natalie will be friendly, observant, ambitious, assertive and always looking for opportunities which will bring her money, expensive trinkets and prosperous opportunities. They’ll both use every ounce of their talents in order to win, because winning will catapult both of them to further success in their careers; and this is their main objective.   

PHIL TUFNELL If Phil’s footwork is as fast as his wise cracks, he’s going to do great in this competition. This Cricket Champ already showed us he’s mastered The Hook, The Glide and The Full Toss – hope these same moves can translate to doing the Fox Trot! Based on his name, a Phil is always striving to achieve. No matter what  promotion or accolades he’s acquired, he’s never quite content with his station in life. He’s always looking for something else to achieve, to make him feel fulfilled. Ironically, “The Cat” has been partnered with another “Kat”. Based on her name, a Katya will whip Phil into shape in no time. She’s comfortable being the center of attention, she’s assertive, creative and needs to feel important. Phil may be used to “sixers”, but he’s going to want some “ten”ers from these judges in order to stay in the competition. If Phil listens to everything his talented Katya has to share, they’ll do great.
